First off, I should have known better than to declare myself cured of any maladies in my last Music Monday post; it seems as soon as I published that, the temps dropped and not only was the nice weather over, but so were my clear sinuses and lungs. Ick. I am SO beyond tired of this lingering cold weather. Serenity now. Spring now. Please.
Anyway, Thirty Seconds To Mars released their fifth studio album, titled America, on April the 6th. I held off on buying the cd or digital copy because Spank and I bought concert tickets for their upcoming Birmingham show, and a free CD was included with the purchase. We just had to wait on them to be sent, and we got them last week.
“Walk On Water”, the first single, has gotten a lot of attention, what with being used to promote ESPN’s 2017 College Football programming and such. So in case you haven’t heard the second single, “Dangerous Night”, yet, here it is:
