Hi! I’m Kim. I’m a quirky mom to two young men, three two doggie girls (Sadly, our sweet, oldest little lady passed away around Christmas 2015 at the age of 13.), and now one rowdy doggie boy. We live in a tiny rural town right outside the beautiful southern city of Huntsville, Alabama, where thrifting is good! And this is important, since thrifting is my therapy.

I’m also: always happy when it rains (or storms wildly). Fascinated by things that go bump in the night. A daydream believer. A couch potato who is desperately trying to get bitten by the fitness bug. A new homeowner. A part-time empty-nester. A website and graphics design dabbler. A rescuer, restorer, and repurposer of thrift store and roadside junk. A gypsy soul who often contemplates starting over elsewhere. A Gen X girl in a millenial world. A firm believer that there’s nothing quite like loud music and the open road to cleanse the soul. Music is my boyfriend. Sweet tea runs through my veins.
I’ve been blogging for many years, though you’ve likely never heard of me or any of my previous blogs.

I also own an Etsy shop, ReInVintaged Goods, where I sell vintage items, but will eventually include vintage-inspired handmade, upcycled, repurposed, reinvented goods.
