NaBloPoMo 2017, Day 1

NaBloPoMo 2017, Day 1

NaBloPoMo. National Blog Posting Month, for those of us who aren’t currently writing a novel and participating in NaNoWriMo, or National Novel Writing Month. Or for those who are, and need/want to write still more. I’m not one of those, but I am sure they do exist out there somewhere!

So, I have a love/hate relationship with NaBloPoMo. It defeats me every. year. But this year? This year I am determined to make it my bitch. So much so that I’m spending the last few moments at home before my work commute composing this post before heading out, which means I’m not going to be wearing makeup. But at least I’ll have something posted for the first day of NBPM.

I blame lack of sleep partly for this lack of coordination. I woke up about 4 or 5 from a stressful dream in which I got ready for work and drove there. I got almost all the way there before realizing I didn’t have any shoes on, or a spare pair in the car. That would never happen, because I don’t drive with bare feet, ever, but I have actually run out before in flip flops and not my work shoes. And thankfully, I only cranked the car before I realized something was “off.” Anyway…it took me a while to get back to sleep, so I didn’t wake up at my usual time, now here I am. Running behind.

On that note, it’s Wordless and Wordy Wednesday (or used to be, when I last blogged regularly). So I leave you with a shot taken at the Foo Fighters show last week:

Like lighters in the dark in the middle of the rock show! Only, not lighters. Still incredible.

    1. Very, very true! I never thought about that, but it is surprising that we never burned places down back when there were only lighters instead of cell phone lights!
